Our September meeting is for finalizing all the details and lining up the schedule of events for our quilt show September 28th, Saturday from 9 to 7 at the Lebanon Senior Center.
As always we will have a small quilt auction. This is our guilds major fund raiser and a great way for you to choose a gift for yourself or a friend. Here is a sneak preview of a couple of the auction quilts.
Do you like bed turnings? If so, we will have one at 10a.m. and again at 2pm. This years bed turning will feature quilt designers from the Pacific Northwest.
There will be a special exhibit from the local chapter of Quilts of Valor. These are quilts made for local service men and women. Quilts of Valor is a national endeavor to honor all service people, be sure to visit with them and learn about the program.
Our featured quilter is Martha Briese. Visit Martha’s Blog to see her current projects then come to the show and see them up close and personal. Her work is outstanding and inspiring, don’t miss it!
Bonus exhibit: beginning on the 24th and running for two weeks the guild will also have a special exhibit at the Lebanon Library featuring quilts and other fabric crafts.
