October Meeting

Thank you to all the guild members, the Jefferson Thread Heads guild members and the individuals in the community that brought their quilts to be hung and enjoyed by everyone at our quilt show.  The quilts were beautiful!

On the quilt show years we always have a challenge based on a theme.  This year was the School House Challenge.  Quilts were to be made using a house or a traditional school house block.  Many of us missed the deadline but some busy individuals did get their quilts done and here they are:

Our program for the evening was on color and people were encourage to bring samples of their favorites.  Most of us could have brought several suitcases of our favorites but here are some:IMG_1229 IMG_1227 IMG_1225 IMG_1224 IMG_1223 IMG_1222 IMG_1221 IMG_1226After the quilt show most of us were pretty worn out and didn’t finish much for show and tell but Karen finished her mystery quilt.  Great choice of color, we all loved it.
