November meeting

IMPORTANT NOTICE

GUILD MEETING WILL CHANGE TO THE 4TH SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH BEGINNING JANUARY 2014

Regular meeting will begin at 10:00 for all guild business, programs, show and tell.  Following will be sit and sew for the afternoon until 3:00.  There will be organized sewing programs or workshops from time to time or work on your own project.  Watch the blog to see what is happening each month.  There is an email subscription “button” on the right side of the blog, sign up to keep current on our activities.

We are still meeting at the Lebanon Senior Center.  New members welcome!  All skill levels. If you are a quilter or enjoy the art of quilting we hope you can join us in 2014.

For November we enjoyed a “primer” on when to use quarter square triangles instead of half square triangles.  If you missed the meetings I will bring my handouts so you can at least get that.

We also elected new officers for the following year.  Thank you for volunteering to lead us through the next year.

Ginger Harter, President  Carol McGlauflin, Vice President

Chris Malone, Treasurer   Barb McKernan, Secretary

Each year, our member Judy Baker, makes 100 quilts and donates them to the ABC House.  The guild members assist her with either machine quilting or binding or both.  She is usually delivering 25 quilts each quarter.  These are a few that were going out the door for binding.
