We always have a visiting, potluck meeting in June. A nice time to simply share a laugh and a story or two. Special thanks to all of you for sharing your favorite dish.
Show and tell. First up, Lisa has been busy turning old handkerchiefs into quilted postcards. Remember how your mother or grandmother would spend time hand stitching embroidery to dress up the handkerchiefs? Crocheted edges finished them off. Truly beautiful pieces. And, yes, she is mailing them to friends and family.
She is also making wool applique mini round quilts. All by hand. Good job, Lisa.
And here is Lisa again with her wonderful old Ocean Waves quilt top that she hand quilted.
This is Jean’s found quilt. Nothing like doing a bit of clean out and you discover a top that you made 15 years ago. Didn’t take much time to get this one quilted!
Carol used up as many greens as she could in this one.
Teresa has decided to go an entire different direction with her challenge quilt and this is her beginnings.
